Clerk's Office

Peggy Rouse is the Clerk of the Municipality who, exercises the statutory authority of the Clerk under the Municipal Act and any other act. Key duties include the provision of secretariat services to council and its committees, acting as "head" of the corporation under the Freedom of Information legislation, information technology including telecommunications, policy and standard recommendations.

PLEASE NOTE:  Anyone wishing to submit Correspondence for the Council Agenda, he/she shall provide same to the Municipal Clerk at the Municipal Office located at 1925 Bruce Road 10, Chesley, ON  N0G 1L0 no later than 12 Noon on the Monday preceding the Council Meeting.  

Individuals who submit letters or other information to Council and its Committee shall be aware that any personal information contained within their communiciatyions may become part of the public record and may be made available through the agenda process which includes publicatiion on the Municipaltiy's website.
