Tara Metered WATER Service Area Rates
Industrial, commercial, institutional and bulk-metered apartment buildings, which consume more
than 240 cubic metres quarterly, are billed quarterly, per unit, separate from taxation.
If consumption is below 240 cubic metres per quarter, water charges are added to
taxes at the annual base service rate per unit. Where consumption is historically
below 240 cubic metres, the water meter shall be read annually at year end to
determine the billing method for the next following year.
