NOTICE
PARKING
AND SNOW CLEARING OPERATIONS
This notice
provides a friendly reminder that under By-law 3057 and the Highway Traffic
Act, RSO 1990 that vehicles are not allowed to be parked or left on any road
maintained by the Bruce County Highways Department as to obstruct snow clearing
operations between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. from November 1st
to April 30th. Vehicles will
be referred to the OPP and removed at the owner’s expense.

Neither the County, nor
the “Snow Plow Operators”, will be held financially responsible for any damages
to a homeowner’s property deemed to be on County road allowance when performing
their daily maintenance operations. This
includes, but is not limited to, damages involving fences, mailboxes,
entranceways and entrance signage. There
is no practical way to plow the roads without depositing snow into driveways.
County staff and snowplow operators appreciate your cooperation and will continue to maintain the County road system to the best of their ability.
