The Clerk is responsible for the duties set out in the Municipal Act, 2001 and various other Provincial Acts as well as those directions and policies developed locally by Arran-Elderslie Council. |
| Births & Deaths Registrations | Duties include: all Municipal correspondence, Council meeting preparation and agendas, preparation of by-laws, minutes of Council meetings, follow-up correspondence, distribution of reports and documents to other Staff Members, the public and various Provincial Ministries, local planning matters, birth & death registrations, freedom of information and protection of privacy, municipal elections, etc. | |
