Place
unwanted items such as usable furniture, clothing, books, tools, sporting
goods, toys etc. at the end of your driveway or the edge of your lawn.
Please tie a white
plastic bag to one of the items at the curb to indicate that these are Goods
Exchange Day items. The Municipality of
Arran-Elderslie will not assume any liability for items lost or removed during
Goods Exchange Day.
PLEASE DO NOT PICK-UP ANYTHING
UNLESS YOU ARE SURE THAT IT IS A GOODS EXCHANGE DAY ITEM.
These items will not be picked up by the Municipality and
are the responsibility of the owner to be disposed of or taken back to the
residence by 6:00 pm.
Refuse must be in a clear (only)
garbage bag or container and placed at the end of the laneway by 7:00 am.

CHESLEY WATER CUSTOMERS
Work is being done on the Chesley
water tower; we are asking that customers conserve water during this process.
There may be a fluctuation in water pressure and some discolouration.
Work is scheduled to be
completed by July 3.
