Rotary Club Yard Sale will no longer be held. The club has reluctantly decided to terminate its sales because of circumstances beyond our control. For over 25 years, its yard sales have been a major fund-raiser and a means of distributing unwanted treasures far and wide. The club thanks all those people who have supported it throughout the years.

The Chesley Community Players have made a donation of $4500 towards the Chesley Medical Clinic project. This money was raised by the April, 2009 production of “Sadie Flynn Comes to Bid Oak” directed by Peter Clements at the Bijou Theatre. The Community Players thank all those who supported this fund-raising event and hope to see you again at the Bijou in October.

The Chesley Community Players present the comedy “Saving Grace” at the Bijou in Chesley on October 15, 16, 17, 23, and 24 at 7:30 p.m. Directed by Jill McLean. Mark these dates on your calendar. Come out for an evening of pleasant local entertainment. Next to an apple a day, laughter is the best medicine.
