THANK YOU

Thank you to all citizens who in the past have cleared fire hydrants of snow. Please keep up the good work - the house you save may be your own.

SNOW REMOVAL

Residents are asked not to put snow on or across roadways as this may cause a dangerous build up of snow and ice.

ARE YOU PREPARED?

Emergencies are always unexpected and frequently catch us unprepared. Health Canada recommends having an emergency survival kit available in the event of power failures, snow and ice storms, flooding, etc.

See the information on page 3, from Grey Bruce Public Health for ideas for your kit. Remember to never use a BBQ indoors.

Happy New Year from the Recreation Department. Did you make a resolution to become more active this year? Let us know how we can help.  Do you want information about an existing program, or do you want to see a new program offered? I would love to hear you ideas and suggestions. Call Katrina Eke 519-363-3039

PLAY-ALWAYS LOOKING FOR NEW VOLUNTEERS.

PLAY in Bruce Grey is the physical activity strategy for Grey Bruce designed to help residents become more active. With young children as the primary audience, PLAY encourages families to be active together and make physical activity a part of their daily routine. Grey Bruce has a higher rate of obesity than most of Ontario but by focusing on younger generations PLAY will hopefully reverse these trends. Check out
