The Treasurer is responsible for the duties set out in the Municipal Act, 2001 and various other Provincial Acts as well as those directions and policies developed locally by Arran-Elderslie Council.

The Treasurer's Office is responsible for all of the Municipal financial records, accounts payable & receivable, payroll, purchasing, water billing and property tax calculations.

The Treasurer is also responsible for maintaining the Municipality's Computer System

and all records and financial information for the Municipality's cemeteries.
