ARRAN-ELDERSLIE 

Vernon Weppler is the Works Manager

The Works Manager is responsible for

three road crews operating from shops in Elderslie, Paisley & Tara,

the Water/Sewer Department,

two landfills in Arran and Chesley,

garbage and recyclables collection,

three cemeteries in Tara, Chesley & Paisley.

Roadwork includes winter/summer maintenance, storm drains, sweeping, crossing guards, street lights, sidewalks, parks, bridges, culverts, resurfacing, line painting, grading, dust control, signs, vehicles, etc.
